I guess we got spoiled last summer – remember how much rain we had in June and July last year. The
Deerfield was at 2,400 cfs for the RICKA Whitewater School last June – no running Zoar Gap that weekend. Last July, we paddled the
Branch River at 540 cfs (its at 46 cfs today) and the
Crystal section of the Farmington at 1,800 cfs (its at 268 cfs today). I’m heading up to the Deerfield today to help out with the RICKA WW School. Hopefully I’ll be able to sneak in a run on Fife Brook. It going to be a scorcher today – good day to take a swim.
