Link: Media keeps a secret with prince...
But I'm reading today, that it was originally reported by an Australian newspaper that Prince Harry had been deployed to Afghanistan, and that noone picked up on that news until six weeks later(now). Once the news broke, the embargo on the news organizations was lifted and they could report the news and pictures that they previously couldn't. Does the news spread like wildfire once it hits the internet? Yes, but I don't think the ENTIRE internet is to blame for the news of Prince Harry being in Afghanistan, just the sites that picked up on the news that had come out six weeks previously, and thus spoiled the news embargo.
Those same entertainment shows are reporting today that they're ending his deployment. Uh.. I think that probably was ended a little sooner than that. He most likely wasn't anywhere near Afghanistan yesterday, or the day before.
