Team registrations are being accepted for the 34th ANNUAL NSA Men’s DECKER EARLY BIRD SOFTBALL CLASSIC held on MAY 20-21 at the Centrue Bank River Road Park Softball Complex in Kankakee, Illinois. Last year’s tournament attracted 40 teams! More teams are registering every day!

The NSA DECKER Early Bird Classic offers three men’s classes this year: an Elite/Gold SUPER NIT, a Silver World Series Qualifier and a Bronze World Series Qualifier.

The Elite/Gold Super NIT offers 1st: $1200 in cash and traveling money. 2nd: $600 cash and 3rd: $400 cash. Huge trophies, individual awards, defensive and offensive MVPs and jacket patches. (Based on 8 teams max). Looking to do a one day.

The Super NIT will award a SUPER BERTH to the first place team in each classification. A 2nd Super berth at the 12th team registered. The Super NIT awards 3 world berths while the silver and bronze award one world berth. All divisions hand out 3 Super Regional berths. Every participant will receive a state berth!

Commemorative NSA EMBROIDERED NSA DECKER EARLY BIRD CLASSIC JACKETS will be awarded to the champions in each class. SPECIAL PRIZES FOR THE MANAGERS!

A new food vendor called PM CONCESSIONS will be on hand to ice cold beer, delicious Hotdogs, Corn Dogs, Pizza, Coney, Sloppy Joe, Walking Taco, Italian sausage & peppers, Taco Salad, breakfast, Popcorn, Sausage & egg, Hot Pretzel, Water, Sausage egg & cheese, Nachos with meat, Gatorade, Oatmeal cup, Candy, Biscuit & Gravy and other breakfast specials. Food window will open at 7 am.

This NSA DECKER Early Bird Classic will fill up early and quickly as in previous years! Teams from Indiana, Ohio, Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa and Missouri have participated in this quality classic! All teams must be NSA classified and sanctioned.

DECKER LEATHER OPTIC YELLOW SOFTBALLS ARE PROVIDED and must be used. No other balls can be used during the tournament under penalty of a dead ball out.

A parking pass will be charged in order to fund the large payouts and prizes.

Centrue Bank River Road Park is conveniently located off Interstate 57 Exit 308 and 20 minutes from I-55 or I-80
