I was there until it closed when I as nearly eleven, in 1955.My name then was Monkman. Others include Barbara and Andrew Sainter and my cousin Olive Walkington. David Burgess was murdered in London and Ros married and had 2 children, but died a few years ago.Judith, Charles and Jane Butler, Dr Butlers children,also went there. Redfields was at the bottom of Park Avenue, next to the Boys Modern School, off Ferrybridge Road.
