I was born on Hemsby Road, close to the Railway Carriage houses. There was another ex-railway carriage on Hemsby Road that was used as a storage shed by the local Chimney sweep. When I was a kid in the early 1970s, I remember the railway carriage houses as having rally colourful gardens.
