I don't know how much the battery would cost. Probably about half the price of a new watch. Also mailing it to a Casio center would cost another few dollars. Taking a taxi to a Casio center or some other place would definitely cost more than a new watch. Besides, I really like this watch and paying $30 or so every 7 or 8 years seems like a very good deal to me.
