although i posted this up on fb here is the picture to go with the post.one of the most simplest of test is at six, you take your pup place it on your forarm leg hanging down put it close to you and grab his paw with your hand sqeeze it untill you get a reaction. 3 reaction, 1) pulls away the paw while screeming 2) just pulls away 3) pulls away but nipps at the hand. 1 and 2 is ok 3 no gd! IF he nipps that means that his first reaction to pain is to bite,so when a child pulls a tail, ears, hair,if he get caught on something what is his first reaction to the pain to bite,NO GOOD! at six to nine weeks all test will tell you what a ADULT dog will be. after 9 weeks ALL is learned behavior, but when he turns ADULT what you had when he was 6 to 9 week ALLWAYS comes out! and there are many test that are done

ok i have worked all my life with dogs and working dogs at that ive also worked with the search and reascue team here in the island. what im showing you is dog sycology. over the years ive worked with some of the best these are in reality secret to the command people since if you breed to only the dogs that past all test youd have the best alpurpose working dogs so trainers of working dogs like shepards and breeders know and do most of these test. others you learn through years of doing it and training.

test two is also very simple, some times called the shepards test. Here in the island will say that if it screems its not pure breed offcourse it doesnt mean that. This test is done from 1 inch of the floor as if you picked me up at over 5 feet id be scared too. This is natures way of caring the pup the way mom does it so its built into his system. In the picture is the correct way he should be legs dropped down the whole body vertical, relaxed no white of the eyes should show. Now if your pup trys to get horizantal, front legs extended forward, toes opened hind legs extended backward, white on the eyes showing, then that is a indication of stress and the question is why would a pup be stressed over the way natures way of picking him up, so if he is afraid of natural thing imagen of unnatural thing. this test and test 1 can also be a indication of fear biter beside other things and even if he doesnt become a fear biter as that is the extreem but ever see a adultdog that is extreemly cautious!

This test is for 2 things so one test comes right after the other. This is to test how much of a nuckle head the pup will be and if he will be hard to out or if he will run across the street after you called him to chase the cat. First you put your pup on its back and place you hand gently over his chest, dont look at his eyes but look at his nose, wait a few second to see if he will fight alot or little or if he just lays there. wich reaction is the best the one that fights alittle but summits, this test isnt to be done to make the pup summit,so dont do it for more then 3-4 sec., second let him go and see if he turns looking away from you or turns inward to face you. Looking inward to you is the reaction you want that means that he or she will alway want to be obediant to you, always looking for your guidens in life no matter what. this dog will out faster, do the commands faster, not run away just because when you just called him, this is the dog that follows you around. all test should be done close to the floor

These are great, my dad used to do these testing on his pups to see which ones were good or fearful.

the best thing of these test is that you CAN know what a adult dog will be like
