I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone who participated in today's event at the Clemson RV park. I truly appreciate all of the cookers, judges and other volunteers who came together in Pendleton this weekend to make this event successful. This was the fifth annual "Grillin' in the Grove" contest and each year has seen different winning teams. Due to this event's success, the organizer is talking about significantly increasing the payout for next year. It was a well attended event in spite of chilly temperatures and blustery winds. The Pendleton Volunteer Fire Department was able to sell $10 quarts of any leftover BBQ to raise money for their fire house. Again, A huge thank you to everyone who helped with and supported this event. Be sure to watch for the 2027 "Grillin' in the Grove" date! Marcia

This event has great community and sponsors support. The host does a great job of growing the event.
We always enjoy this event! As a retired volunteer firefighter, it is awesome to see a Department supported by the community.
