Why are we waiting so long to open judge registration for events this year? It has always been 30 days. We should be signing up for May events in April. What is the reason for this change?

The amount of Judges needed at a competition is determined by how many teams register to cook. Teams are signing up later this year which is causing some events to open later than usual.

Tommy, as much for myself as a Marshal, I would love to be able to open the sign-up for judges a month in advance, the main reason for the delay, is due to the cookers not signing up until the last minute making it almost impossible for the Marshal to have an adequate number of judges needed that far in advance.
