SCBA Competition Cooking Class

2022 SCBA Competition Cooking Class

The South Carolina Barbeque Association will once again be sponsoring a competition cooking class.

The class will be held on January 22, 2022 at the Ruritan Club House, 1202 Methodist Park Rd, West Columbia, SC 29169, and will begin promptly at 8:30.

Our two time South Carolina State Barbeque Champion Gene Culbertson of Backwoods Bar-B-Que will be your instructor along with several other award winning pit masters.

The cost to attend is $90.00 per person and includes lunch. Registration is now open and is limited to the first 25 entries. Once we reach full capacity registration will close.

As of this morning, only a few spots remain to attend the cooking class. If you are interested, I would suggest you register soon. When we reach 25, the registration will close.

At this time the cookers class will proceed as scheduled. Attendance has been limited to 25 participants and there will be ample room for social distancing . The SCBA will continue to monitor the covid/omicron situation closely. The health and well-being of our guests are of the utmost importance and we will plan accordingly.
