The SCBA family knows what a great job Tony Lindsay and Bill Walsh do when they marshal an event. On Saturday Mauldin recognized the efforts of these two as well for their tireless work in helping the event succeed for another year.
Presenting the awards to Tony and Bill were Mauldin Mayor Dennis Raines and Event Chair George McLeer, Jr.
They gave the Marshalls a nice gift. It was a set of BBQ cooking tools that was nicely monogramed with:"The Lindsey Family" and The Walsh Family" on the wrap for the tools. VERY nice to be acknowledged for the work done. I also want to say that Bill Walsh really was outstanding as an assistant Marshall. Tony has not been feeling well. Bill, without asking stepped up and did things that normally the Marshall would have done. Thank you Bill. Words cannot express how much we appreciate you. You are one in a MILLION!
