Food section local paper had short blurb on a Mr. Kyle Payne who founded Holy Smoke Olive Oil Co. in Charleston. Stated he developed technique for cold smoking extra virgin olive oil "that infuses a pronounced hickory musk without dampening the oil's peppery brightness....bringing a splash of campfire to your next pan fried steak" Their website says company was co-founded by a Max Blackman, and they use pecan and hickory. Wondered if anyone has tried this product, or tried making it? Site also lists recipes, etc. holysmokeoliveoil(dot)com
