Friends, thank you for signing up to help a Cook Team serve visitors attending the Forrest Wood Cup! FLW is expecting 60,000 to 80,000 spectator’s for this 3 day Bass Fishing Competition and SCBA Barbeque competition. A first for both! SCBA Judges will assist Cook Teams serving the huge crowds that we expect Saturday and Sunday. The SCBA tent will be located outside the Colonial Life Arena on Lincoln St. @ College St. You should report between 10:00 and 10:45 for your team assignment. Parking is available in the parking garage on Lincoln & Pendleton St. If you are judging, Ken will give you your team assignment at the Judges meeting and you report directly to the team after you are excused. We need more help for Sunday!!!! If you can assist a team Sunday, do NOT sign up, just show up at the SCBA tent for assignment. Dress for the day will be your SCBA Apron, Hat and Name Tags. This is a big day for SCBA and we appreciate your help!
On Sunday I do not need any help until about 1:30. I would love to have someone then as I will be by myself after 2. The SCBA has done an outstanding job setting this event up. I really am looking forward to participating as a cook. Thanks to all the people who have been involved in the planning of this event. Your hard work at planning this event is showing with all the detailed plans you have sent us. Thanks!
