I am new to this so this subject may have been covered already. On Friday night there usually a wing cook off. What about adding a hot sauce contest to it. Cookers can make their hot sauce and serve pretzel sticks to dip into the hot sauce and let the people judge. I think it would be great for people who love spicy foods.
Matt, The event organizer is the one who decides what, if any, event happens on Friday night. Rarely do any of the Friday night events have anything that is spicy. Last year I had a ghost pepper hot wing, and this year some team tried to kill the judges with a BBQ sauce entry at Spartanburg. Other than that, entries are typically more suited for the masses.

Gotcha, I thought SCBA decided what was cooked on Friday night. Personally I wouldn't get rid of the food on Friday and think it would be cool to add a hot sauce comp along with it. That way people who didn't like spicy stuff could still enjoy the food. Thanks for the response!!
