A big shout out to all the cook teams and judges that participated in the Annual Battle of Camden BBQ Festival. Thank you for making this event very successful. I can’t say enough about the awesome job the Camden Jaycees do make sure the cook teams and judges have everything they need and all the hard work they put into making sure all goes smoothly. You guys sure make my job an easy one.
Winners for the wings contest on Friday night were: 1st Place went to Tail-Gater Hater; 2nd Place Men at Work BBQ; 3rd Place CBF Que
Saturday Winners were in Ribs: 1st Place, Backwoods Bar-B-Que; 2nd Place, PaPa D’s BBQ; and 3rd Place, Slinging Meat.
In Butts the winners were: 1st Place, Blazin’ Bullets Barbeque; 2nd Place, Tail-Gater Hater; 3rd Place, S and M BBQ; and 4th Place, High on the Hog. There were 11-16+s in ribs and 10-16+s in butts. Congratulations to everyone that got a call. A special thanks to the judges that came out Friday night and Saturday to judge some great wings and barbeque from some of the greatest cooks in South Carolina.
