Thought you might want to hear some good news. Mauldin had another SOOIE Board meeting today and the event is still on.

They are doing everything to make it safe for all who participate both for attendees as well as for the cookers and judges. LOTS of changes and precautions. The size of the event has been reduced from 30 to 20 teams. The SCBA website will have a sign up for judges starting on Sunday. An email will be sent to qualifying judges.
Be on the lookout for the times of sign up for the event.
