I want to thank Mike Hesbach, Glenn Button , and Emil (can't spell his last name) and all of the scout leaders and scouts that had anything to do with putting together a great BBQ cookoff to benefit their organization. This is one special event, scouts and leaders everywhere working serving and doing all they could to make judges and cook teams and the general public feel appreciated. This is why I keep going back there.

Thanks to all fifteen cook teams who participated . Your samples were delicious. A special thanks to all cooks who contributed novice boxes. These boxes are how we train future judges, and their importance cannot over-looked.


Winners were Backwoods Bar-B-Que First in Pork, Ribs And wings. Jt's BBQ Second in Pork and Ribs, And Monkey Bottom Boys Third in Pork. Congratulations to all who got a call.


Lastly, I lift up a huge thank you to all the judges, who honored their commitment to this event and were there at the table on time to do their job the best way they know how . This means looking, smelling, squeezing, pulling. biting and tasting to give each sample a proper judging. Thank you for all you do as judges.
