The 9th Annual Project Host BBQ cook-off is scheduled to take place on Saturday April 28th near Downtown Greenville. It will be held at the same location as last year at the Swamp Rabbit Trail at 320 S. Hudson Road. Look for the big white tent on the field.
We currently have 19 Cook Teams who have registered for this event. There will be 2 meats to judge. Pulled Pork at 10:00 AM And Ribs at 11:00 AM
Remember if you have a family member cooking with a team, you will not be able to judge but know that we will have a job for you to do.
Tommy;s Ham House will serve biscuits on Saturday morning along with some nice hot coffee. Come early to mingle, Judges meeting will start at 9 AM and all judges are to be within the judging tent by 9:30 AM. In addition no fraternization with the cook teams prior to judging.
We look forward to seeing all that have signed up. We have assigned tables so that tables are equalized with the same number of Master, Senior, Certified judges. We know that sometimes schedules change even with best intentions. If you are not able to make it, please contact me at tlindsey4@yahoo.com.
In addition, on Friday night the First Responders will be judging the Anything Butt Competition. However, we will need 4-5 local judges who could be table captains for this event. Please contact me by responding to this email if you would like to be considered for this.
Thank you in advance for your dedication to fairness and consistency in judging this SCBA event.
