Good morning,

The judges brief as follows.

We will have our cooks meeting at 5:00 pm on Friday. There will be an anything butt, beginning at 6:30pm Friday evening. The SCBA has not been asked to help with this portion of the event, however if you would like to come out and sample various items you are welcome. They will be selling tickets onsite for sampling.

Saturday we will be judging two categories, butts and ribs. Judge's meeting will begin at 9am. Please begin arriving before 9am so that we can start promptly. I will assign table captains prior to the judges meeting. Table captains will remind everyone of the proper judging guidelines.

A reminder that the grazing table will be closed to those judging until all score sheets from all tables have been turned in to the calculator. Grazing table will be open to runners, receivers and calculators during judging. I will provide quart bags to those needing them on request. Do not bring containers or gallon bags of your own.

Please remember to refrain from visiting the cook teams prior to judging. You may visit with them once judging is over
