We are looking forward to seeing you on Saturday, October 1, 2016 for great BBQ tasting and fun! This contest is held by the City of Gaston.

The location of the event is at the Town Hall building, 131 North Carlisle Street in Gaston.

 From NW of Cola or Spartanburg traveling East on I-26, exit #115 onto US321 South, and drive 8.6 to Mack St. then turn right drive .2 miles to N Carlisle St to the Town Hall on your left.
 From I-77 South at I26 stay left on I-77 follow signs to Gaston, take exit #1 to US321 South the drive 8.4 miles to right turn on Mack St. drive .2 miles to right turn onto N Carlisle St to the Town Hall on your left.
 Traveling West on I-26 exit #125 left turn onto Old Sandy Run Rd 2.6 miles to Pine Plain Rd then right and then left after 400 ft. to Hwy 65 drive 3.7 miles to N Carlisle St turning right to Town Hall .1 mile on your left.

The parking area is a located around the Town Hall. The Judges meeting will begin promptly at 9:00 am.

The judging area is in the city’s multipurpose building enter from the rear, where the cooking teams are located. There will be signs to direct you.

If you are advancing in the SCBA and will be receiving a hat or apron please be sure to let Joe or me know in advance.

Please remember that if you have a family member cooking in the event you will not be able to judge. We will assign you another duty.

Turn in time for butts is 10:00 am, turn in time for ribs is 11:00 am, and the award ceremony is at 2:30 pm or earlier if we are on schedule with scoring. Please remember to limit contact with the teams to a “Good Morning”
while arriving.
