Pitmasters,

I have been asked to inform all of the Pitmasters signed up to cook at the Peach Festival that Brian Teigue and George King are organizing a cooker sponsored rib throwdown on Saturday July 16.

As with most of the rib throw downs each team is responsible for supplying their own ribs and the buy in is $40 cash paid to Brian at the cooks meeting on Friday.

The judging will be done in accordance with and follow the SCBA rules with turn in at 11am (turn in opens at 10:50 and closes at 11:10) and the event will provide the turn in boxes.

100% of the money collected will be paid out to the winners but the number of teams getting the call is dependent upon the number of teams that enter.
