Hello everyone

Today was an amazing day for me. I cooked my first competition 4 years ago. With that said we got put in our place. After that Brad and I became judges and took a couple class to know what is needed to get a call. But at the time I wanted a call and I didn't know what I was getting into. We've meet people that we look forward to seeing at every competition. It truly is a family. With that said we all know you can't always expect a call. It's a hobby!! Although some weekends really suck and your pissed off but it is what it is. I know it sucks when you spend the money and get a crappy score that really sucks but it is what it is. Maybe I'm still on a high after today because last years Pig in the Park was our first call at 5th place which for us was amazing. But to come back and get our first 1st place here was truly an amazing day for us. Plus to see all the cooker congratulate us on that makes even more of an amazing day. Even though we may fight and argue this is the best bunch of cooks and judges I am happy to call friends and family.
