We could not have asked for better teams, wings, barbecue, bands, brews, weather and camaraderie.
This weekend's event was a jewel of a way to kick off the 2016 season! Port Royal, SC never looked more vibrant with the 26 teams cooking all night to turn in South Carolina's finest tastes to the official judges Saturday morning.
Congratulations to Blowin' Smoke, Backwoods Bar-B-Que, Smoke Central BBQ, Ultimate Tailgaters and S'Lowcountry Q for rounding out the top 5 in Butts.
The side Rib contest was taken by BoBo's Que, Southern Smoke, Smoke Central BBQ, Pair-O-Dice Pork and Smoke-N-Hope.
Friday night Wing Throw Down went to Backwoods Bar-B-Q, Carolina Squires and Q on Bay with the People's Choice given to All Smoked Up.
