: Anderson University’s 6th Annual Trojan
: Cook-Off being held this Friday and
: Saturday, October 23rd & 24th. This is
: a premier event on the SCBA circuit and you
: will be judging some of the best bbq butts
: and ribs from our top competition teams.
: This is also Anderson University’s Annual
: Alumni Day and Homecoming weekend, with
: special activities going on throughout the
: day and evening.
: The event is being held at Anderson
: University’s Athletic Campus (formerly the
: Anderson County Fairgrounds) located at 431
: Williamston Road (Hwy 29), Anderson, SC
: 29621. From I-85 South, take Exit 27 onto SC
: 81 South (East Greenville Street) towards
: Anderson. Turn left at the traffic light at
: the intersection of East Greenville Street
: and Boulevard onto US 29 (Boulevard). Follow
: Boulevard 0.9 miles through the Anderson
: University campus to the Anderson University
: Athletic Campus. Gate 2 is to the left just
: past the traffic light at East Orr Street.
: Enter through GATE 2 and be greeted by
: University student leaders who will give you
: a Judge's Packet, direct you to the parking
: area, and direct you to the area where
: judging will take place. The Judge’s Packet
: includes passes to special events you may
: attend on Anderson University’s campus after
: judging.
: If you can participate in Friday night’s ATB
: (Any Thing But) competition, please park in
: this location both Friday and Saturday.
: Also, PLEASE email, call, or text me if you
: can participate in the ATB judging Friday
: night. We need several judges for that
: competition. ATB judging will take place at
: 7:00 PM sharp, so plan to be there by 6:30
: PM to get signed in.
: This is a two event turn-in with BUTTS at
: 9:50 AM followed by RIBS at 10:50 AM. The
: judges' meeting on Saturday morning is at
: 9:00 AM. Awards will be at 1:45 PM. Please
: plan to stay for this ceremony if you can.
: If you will be receiving an apron or hat and
: HAVE NOT notified me or posted it when you
: signed up for the event on the website,
: please let me know ASAP so we can be
: prepared to present it to you at the Judge’s
: Meeting. If last minute changes to your
: schedule occur and you cannot attend, kindly
