What happened to Spring? Just a few weeks ago we were reporting on the cold rainy weather at some events and now Cowpens with the temperatures well into the 90's. Regardless, what an event that celebrates the history of a town with so much to celebrate. Eighteen teams fired up their cookers and cooked some of the finest butts, ribs, and chicken wings any where to be found.

Third place Butts went to:

First place in Ribs went to Backwoods Bar-B-Que - Gene Culbertson, Pitmaster


Second place Ribs went to:
Tail Gater Hater - Gelenn Lee, Pitmaster


Third place Ribs went to:
All Smoked Up - Gary Taylor, Pitmaster


In the Wings Competition first place was taken by Ultimate Tailgaters - Chris Fulmer, Pitmaster
