Everyone is invited to the presentation of awards for the South Carolina State Barbeque Championship at the SC State House on Saturday, January 10. The awards ceremony will begin at 11:00am in the Rotunda of the State House and will be over by noon.

We have three outstanding teams receiving awards this year: Smokin’ Stacks from Aiken with Jeff Smith and Larry Bowling as pit masters are this year’s S C State Champions, Gene Culbertson, pit master for Backwoods Bar-B-Que is first runner up for the championship and Gary Taylor and crew, who were last year’s State Champions are this year’s second runner up.
