We have certainly had an adventure this year Judging, Marshaling and Cooking for the SCBA. We've worked with fabulous event coordinators at spectacular venues. We've sat at tables with well-trained judges and evaluated some of the best pork we've ever eaten. And we've cooked next to the best BBQ teams in the state of South Carolina who are passionate and dedicated to making the event and the pork perfect.
Congratulations to Smokin’ Stacks, Backwoods Bar-B-Que and All Smoked Up for placing 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the State Champion Rankings. Thank you to the hundreds of teams that cooked at more than 35 SCBA-sanctioned BBQ Events. Congratulations to all the Event Coordinators and their volunteers for creating and maintaining wonderful events. Thank you to all the SCBA judges who travel across the state to taste and evaluate and help with all the Saturday morning procedures. A special thanks to Ken, Dawn and Lew for assisting us as we Marshaled at our 2014 Beaufort BBQ Festivals.
We are looking forward to seeing you as the 2015 season begins at Bands, Brews and BBQ in Port Royal, SC (where BBQ began) on February 27 (wings) and 28 (butts and ribs).
