I would like to thank all the cook teams, judges and volunteers who came out to support the first Grillers Cup this past weekend at Lakewood Camping Resort.

You could not have asked for a better venue to have an event. The cook teams had plenty of water and power and were well taken care of by Lakewood’s, Claude McSwain, who also provided a full breakfast to the cookers on Saturday morning. Congratulations to all the teams who got the call.

I would like to thank our SCBA team including Steve who did calculations; table captains, Ed, Joe and Mike; novice instructors William and Greg; receivers Diane and David and our running crew. Thank you for a job well done.

I would also like to thank all the judges who came out and volunteered to help with the Wing competition on Friday night and a very special thank you goes out to all the volunteers who offered their help in serving the public on both Friday and Saturday.

Lastly, congratulations to all the judges who received their aprons.
