A big THANKS to all the Cook Teams and Judges who participated in the Mighty Moo Festival this past Friday and Saturday in Cowpens. This year’s event had 15 teams competing in Wings on Friday night and Butts on Saturday.

Congratulations to all who got a call.

1st Place – All Smoked Up
2nd Place – Doko Smoke
3rd Place – Elite BBQ Smokers

Moon and Back BBQ took 1st place in Wings.

On the SCBA side, Don Adkins was the Assistant Marshal who provided great leadership and mentoring. Teena and Michael Bohm did a superb job in handling calculations. Danny Watts, Bill and John Walsh handled Table Captain duties. Marcia Adkins and Joe Standridge worked the receiving table and Mike Horne was the official photographer while directing the runners. William Holladay handled the Novice table, preparing the way for our future Certified Judges.

Lastly, Don and I would like to thank Thomas and Mark Voelker, along with Pam Camp, for making this a well organized event for everyone who came out to support.
