Our inaugural event is up and running! The dates are October 3&4, hosted by South Carolina's very first State Park located outside historic Cheraw,"The Prettiest Town in Dixie". We are looking for 20 teams cooking for a top prize of $1250! Cookers will prepare their best wing recipe on Friday night then turn in their best butt on Saturday morning. Cheraw State Park sits on beautiful Lake Juniper and offers camping, cabins, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, hiking and a beautiful 18 hole golf course. There will be live music both days performed by two of our very best local bands and local vendors offering a variety of items for purchase.
Our benefiting Charity is Chesterfield County's McArn Food Bank. McArn Food Bank has been serving residents of Chesterfield County since 2002, they are a 501c entity so your donations are tax deductible. As you plan the rest of your participation this year I hope that you will give our a event a chance.
