This exciting new event is on Saturday, May 31st with a morning judging. Thank you for participating in this fundraiser for ST Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Judging begins at 10:00 am (9:50 am first turn-in time) and all judges are to report to the Thunder Tower Harley Davidson store prior to 9:00 AM. The dealership is located at 190 Pontiac Business Center Dr, Elgin, SC 29045.
We will be judging both Butts and Ribs. This is one of the largest payouts this year so we have great team participation. You should expect to judge some excellent BBQ.
The judges meeting will be held at 9am. There will be a breakfast vendor at the event if you choose to come a bit early. We will discuss information about the festival, go over judging duties and present aprons and hats to those moving up in the SCBA ranks. If you haven’t already done so, please let me know before the event if you are earning an apron or hat. If anyone has a request for a specific duty, email me and I will do my best to accommodate your request.
