I try to explain what multiple teams like Garland's do each week (as so well documented in
the article) to give judges the very best ounces to taste of 50 or so pounds of meat after a weeks worth of extreme effort for me to taste is...PRICELESS.
The cherry on top is the camaraderie, "esprit de corps", friendship,and just plain fun, or I wouldn't be doing it.
Every weekend...sun, rain, wind, cold, doesn't matter..Carpe Diem!!!
