Firstly, a big thank you to Senor Fred for stepping in, whilst I was away down under. I don't know which was worst, the cricket or Notts, how on earth did we lose to Stanley...after all, as the advert says, who are they?
Thank goodness we have signed James Belshaw and on my 70th birthday too! Poor old Roos, I saw him make some blinding saves, but I think his own goal against Chesterfield was a bridge too far for Patto. I heard his post-match interview in Australia and thought then, Roos is on his way.
It's great to have someone in the team that is a born and bred Notts fan, they maybe useless, but you know with Notts blood running through their veins, they will die for the cause and feel as bad as everyone else if we lose. That is why I liked Derry as a manager, one of us.
On to Crawley. Surely, we cannot lose this, we obviously need a win.
Will the Tamworth winger be on the bench? Jones' position must be under threat; he just has not been himself this season.
I am going for a 2-0 away win, to get us back on track.
What a total disappointment the Accrington game was. It looks like we have lost our way. Let's try to get back on track against Crawley with a 3-1 win- Clean sheets isn't our thing.
Welcome back Maggie. Think it was the football or lack of was the worse of the two, the Cricketers alas were expected to be beaten were as The Footie lads werent. Once again a very flat and disapointing performance. No excuses we were devored of ideas, lack of energy, lack of commitment and I thought a lack of will to do anything about it.
Can we change things, not so sure but at least we have a new home bred goalie so hopefully a few clean sheets and a few at the other end would be nice.
Hopefully the new wide man can do the buisness from the off.
Heard rumours that Gordon is off next week so who else out and who in thats the question.
Out of hope rather than expectations a 3-0 win with a quick fire double in the first half to put us on the right track.
