For once I got the score right! By all accounts we dominated the game, and both goals were well taken, especially the second. What a pass from Palmer into the path of McGoldrick, it was like watching Bobby Moore send it perfectly down the pitch for 50 yards.
OK OK, perhaps not quite like Bobby Moore, but you get the idea, it was a very good pass and McGoldrick heading around the defender was just another example to him playing at a level far below his capabilities.
MK Dons are in total disarray at the moment according to everything I have read about them, their captain, yes, their actual captain said the new manager will have to bring in 25 ...that's 25, new players. Poor old Crowley must be wondering why he went there.
Now there disarray could either mean, they are at last going to pull themselves together and sneak a last minute 1-0 win or succumb to our utter brilliance, (oh alright, I know it's late) well our hopeful lapse away from home mediocrity and we win 4-0.
I'm going for a thumping...3-0 home win...4-0 is too much to hope for.
A good win against Newport. In patches we looked like the team that won promotion from the National League. Now we are playing at home where we have struggled. I hope the Newport game was our turning point. I foresee an impressive 1-0 win.
A very solid performance against a limited side but you can only beat what is in front of you. 2 very good goals from Whitiker and if he continues this form he is well worth a contract unless his head is turned by someone in the championship.
Was also looking at 3-0 but will go with your other one and say 4-0. Cuckoo land maybe but surely at some stage the players need to put there shooting boots on.
