THE FAILING MAGPIES v The Bantams.

The match last Saturday was the worst performance of the season by a country mile. The really worrying thing is if the boss is to be believed is that the players either a) ignored his instructions or b) just forgot them.

Not one player came out of that match with any credit.

We really do need a new striker. We need to change the captain, Palmer by his own admission is not a shouter. Well, we needed a shouter last Saturday.

This Saturday could be worse, with probably 2 or 3,000 supporting them, Bradfors could easily win 1-3.

I'm predicting a defeat as in all seriosness, I see nothing after Saturday to tell me otherwise.

So it is 1-3 for me.

I can't remember when I last saw a performance of such poor quality of us as against Salford.
Nothing worked.
I demand a response against Bradford.
I will get it eventually by my favourite, and constantly failing, prediction:
3-2 to Notts.

Shocking absolutely shocking from what I was watching. I dont like calling out the manager but despite what the players say and after there reaction to his instructions last week I dont believe they have faith in him easy.

Its easy to blame injuries and we will come good when there back but how long will that take?
SM sais it will take time to get them back flowing when fit so we can count them out till February and by then it could be all over by then.

I too have a bad feeling about the fixtures coming up and I cant see many if any points being got.

A 2-1 reverse for me but hoping for a little pre Christmas cheer.

On the other hand, me being old, I have seen far too many very poor performances (some of which we had a good manager for!)

Fingers crossed that SM gets things correct today - 3-1 win as the resurgence starts. Next stop League 1
