One of the owners off the train at St Pancras said to me after I had said, "more self-inflicted misery" ...2they didn't create much"
I replied, "they didn't have to, they were 2-0 up"
I also told him we played far too much sideways and backwards football and were too slow going forwards.
I said if we lose on Tuesday the season is over.
Notts were lethargic and ponderous on Saturday and as for their third goal, more stupid playing it out from the back was responsible. Two nil down and they just amble along going from side to side.
well if we do not get a decent win on Tuesday more knives will be out for Maynard, quite a few fans sadly have not given him a chance so far.
But he needs to acrt fast, I have seen first hand Notts fans turn on a manager and it is not nice.
I'm going for a 3-0 win ...more in hope than in logic.
Senor Fred...can you please do the honours whilst I am in freezing Stockholm for the Bradford match.
Will try and catch your input via my phone but may not be able to get an opportunity, thank you.
Can't speak against you, Maggie. It looks like we have lost our plot. It is too soon to pass judgement on Maynard. The slide was already in motion when he took over. Give me some hope with a 1-0 win.
What's gone wrong? Its not just the others sussing us is there really a happy camp at the minute?
Im prepared to give Stu time, we have wasted too much on the hiring and firing game and that didnt work, But!! Luke on the whole said it has we saw it but Stu saying we never gave up!! well we never got started so how could we stay in it. The same team every week, can't be doing much for the squad players whether they are better or not. Tactics changing as often as we did can't help the players to deliver a game plan. Not sure if the players want or believe in him, thinking back to Kewell!!!
I have absolutely no idea on the scoreline, we should win at a canter but this is Notts at the moment. Will go for 4-0 win or 2-1 loss take your pick.
Of course Maggie I will take up the reigns. Whilst your freezing your bits off I will be sitting in 20 degree plus sunshine and warmth.
Playing an international tournament Thursday and Friday with 6 teams from England, France. Belgium and Holland also coming over.
Regards to all from a windy but warm Espana Senor Fred
Positives - Notts are back in the proper leaugues, unlikely to get relegation back to non-league, we have the brothers in charge (I still rejoice NOT having Alan "flash the 'nads" Hardy here).
County can now have 60% - 70% possession on a regular basis. The team now even have a plan B Alright, currently we should change the club nickname to the crabs as there is far too much sideways & backwards movement of the ball, but, it's still the stupid individual mistakes that are costing us. If it were the same player everytime we'd all scream for that player to get dropped.
I still believe that the Maggies are slowly turning the corner & we'll go back to outscoring the opposition, so a 4-2 winto help bring back the self-belief!
