At last, we seem to have a goal scorer, whom, as Naggers said, does not need umpteen chances to score one goal. Slater and Stall were comparing him to Lee Hughes, I think that is premature, don't forget, Hughes was a top class Championship goal machine in his day, interestingly he could not make the step up to the Prem, where he never scored.
But that aside, Langstaff seems the real deal at this level and when his sidekick Scott gets up to being fully fit, we might be on to something.
All we need now is the defence to start shoring itself up and to stop playing tippy tappy in the goal area.
Onto the Moors match, we welcome back the best manager we've had in a long while and it will be sad to see him go away from Meadow Lane defeated yet again.
I'm going for a 3-1 win...
WE'RE THE ONE AND ONLY EXILES...GRRRR
PS Foxie and I are making the trip, normally we always see Mr Ardley on the return journey to London after a Moors match. Had some interesting conversations with him, he was convinced we'd catch Barrow before Covid stepped in.
Here we go again at the lane. We seem to have found a couple of goal scorers but a combative defence eludes us at this stage. One seems to be injury prone so give him a rest and play Bajrami who seems to be doing all the right things right when playing or coming on.
