There's a group of us at Notts where we sit find Burchnall's style of play utterly boring, it may win more than it loses, but I am still not convinced it will ever win us automatic promotion.
The 4-1 win against King's Lynn was dull fare, sideways and backwards with the odd attack against a shoddy, poor defence.
We should have had 6 or 7.
Onwards to Weymouth, this really should be 6-0, have you seen how many they have conceded?
No doubt Graham will pass it to Rawlinson at least 10 times and it will go back to Graham.
If we go up, I'll be amazed, but ecstatic at the same time. In fact if we go up, Burchnall can do what he wants, as long as we get back to at least tier two in a couple of seasons.
If anyone needs reminding how good we once were, just go on the Notts Legends site...you can torment yourself all day long there.
I think that the results count. To win and play pretty is asking too much, as far as I have seen. Let my delusions of grandeur continue and get that 6-0 win and preferably with pretty football.
Ok Ok then it will be 7-0 but realistically 3-0. I agree that it is the result at the end of the day that counts at least until we get back in the league if ever we do!!! Cmon Notts you CAN do it.
We're talking Notts so why expect a comfortable win? Should manage a double figure score against Weymouth so probably scrape a 2-1 win after falling behind.
