What a farce Tuesday was, players being sick at half-time.
I couldn't listen to the second half, first time in years I've not bothered with a second half commentary. Richardson should have had us 1-0 if not 2-0 up, but he completely cocked everything up.
On a brighter note we have signed a decent player in harry Arter. Played 36 times for Woking...then 232 times for Bournemouth, he won't be match fit but his experience should be helpful. I hope he's the sort that shouts and leads, we need someone like that.
Daggers will be a handful at home, they always seem to play at 100 mph against us at the Victoria Ground, or whatever silly sponsorship name it has now.
We need a win, but can you see it, more a draw this one.
I'm going for 1-1 ...I'll be taking Foxie as it is only three tube stops down the line, a lovely home match for the two of us.
The signing of Arter tells me that we mean business. Now I feel more positive than after the last games. The teams above us better watch out. The revival starts against Dagenham and Redbridge in a modest way. We will take them out by 3-2. Enjoy the game, Maggie.
I suppose it depends who is fit and who aint. We could sneak this if we take our chances. Hopefully Harry settles and fits in well we need some experience and craft. !-0 for me more in hope than expectation. Regards from a still very warm and dry NZ NZ FRED
