Well all worries of Woking being a banana skin were totally unfounded, they were poor, we in the first half were not that much better. The whole first half was dire.
Sam is a totally different player from a year ago. I'm not convinced he knows what he's doing all the time, but he has this amazing ability to somehow have the ball, lose it, regain it , lose it, get it back again and get a goal bound effort away, as proved on Saturday.
He has now become a very useful outlet, it's like having a new signing.
On to Chesterfield. Notts usually raise their game against the top clubs, not every time, but most times, lets hope they do so on Tuesday. Looks like Roberts may be out again through injury, which is a blow.
But if they get themselves up for this, and if the 1800 Notts fans get behind them, (the atmosphere at Woking was awful) Notts can nick this.
It sounded dire to but it was 3 points all the same. We have poundered the goal in other games and played very well and lost so will take that any day of the week. Will go with a 2-1 win for this one more in hope than anything and them not too convincing at the moment. Regards from the usual NZ NZ FRED
