So after all these years it's our first game out of the league! And we're away.... I have absolutely no idea how good the opposition are but I'm as least as likely to know their names as I am my own teram as we have so many new faces. I like Tyson coming in and the team have had a good pre-season so who knows! Shall we have a prediction or wait to see if Mr M shows (or has shot himself in disgust). Guess what. I could say 1-1 but I'm going to say 1-2 Notts with Tyson grabbing at least one as he'll be too good for this level.

I usually get my predictions wrong since I Always go for wins or draws. Last season was a prediction disaster as you can imagine. Well, I'll try to sober up. I don't know Eastleigh either and, as you say, we have had good results in the pre-season so I will go for a win. 2-0 to Notts then.

could be a difficult season until we see how they shape up but at least this company makes its money from Football analysis so they SHOULD know who the best players are and be able to buy and sell them to Notts' benefit!

Its been the long white cloud today even though its winter so here goes.
Firstly JP do you have contact details for Mr M to see if he is ok. A bit strange that on the eve of a game and for the entire summer he is nowhere to be seen.
As for the new season, optimistic but open minded as to the season predictions. It appears that Eastleigh have lost some of there better players from last season and coupled with out new squad and owners we have a genuine reason to be on the front foot this weekend. I think a 2-1 win is on the cards, scrappy but hopefully a sign of things to come this season.
Thanks to Swedish, JP and Naggers for supporting this forum it would not be the same without you all.
I have my pies player so will be able to tune in and get highlights etc for the forthcoming season.Anyone know how to get bt sports or other means of watching live games on the tv, we can't get it over here.
Back to the farm 5 new baby lambs to attend too. Regards NZ FRED
