Contrary to what I was led to believe at the end of last season the old mushroom has not damn well retired.
Apparently a rumour started on social media.
If that isn't a good enough reason to ban social media I don't know what is. I spent most of Saturday morning looking forward to the commentary and wondering who would Notts have in place to deliver a sensible coherent commentary.

I told you last season he had decided he wasn't going - you're going to have to live with his commentary. However,you have the glorious Mark Stallard to help out (although I'd rather he was on the pitch)
