A frustrated Paterson says he needs more players. We certainly need a new striker, two of them if Jatta is going, certainly a central defender and we still have not got a creative midfielder. We have not replaced Crowley.

We could also do with a Willie Carlin type in midfield.

All in all, we are miles away from being a team that is going to get promoted this season. It is a good job there are 46 games and come February/March when hopefully he has his settled team, there will still be lots of time for us to put a run together and for us to get in amongst the top 7.

I can't see us getting more than a draw this weekend, not unless we buy a 30 goal a season striker in the next 24 hours.
