Times must be bad if we thing Stockport at home is a difficult fixture, followed by Bromley, aren't Bromley a non-league club, then Grimsby away. If we were playing Grimsby away in the 1930's when they were in the old First division, I'd be worried. They reached the semi-finals of the FA Cup twice in the 1930's and the 1939 semi-final played at Old Trafford in front of 76,962 fans is still Old Trafford's highest gate, which must be very annoying for Man United fans as their club wasn't playing, Wolves being the opposition.
Back to Stockport, we just have to win to have any c belief that we are going to be promoted. It would be nice to kid ourselves that in Mitchell we have found a goal scorer, but it was only Tamworth.
I'm actually going to this match so I'm hoping for a win, 1-0 for me in a close fought game, but to be honest, it is just hope.
WE'RE THE ONE AND ONLY EXILES... GRRRRR...
