On top of getting peppered by spent brass, the "feed" on my pistol kept jamming up as well so I had to manually open & clear the jams between shots as well.
I got an "A" for persistance at least. We have one lady who always stops after just a few shots because "it hurts her finger" to pull the trigger... and another who walks off every time she gets a jam or misfire and tells her husband to "fix it." I just deal with whatever & keep on shooting! LOL!
As one of the guys put it, I may not be the most accurate shooter out there but I'm good & fast enough that anyone coming at me would have a serious leakage problem!
That reminds me... I need to run over to Versailles Centerfire and see if I can find some relatively cheap .22 ammo... What .22's lack in stopping power, you can make up for in quantity. :-)
Wish you all were nearby. My ladies & I are hosting a ladies-only "Women on Target" instructional shoot Sept 26. Rifle, shotgun, and pistol. Certified instructors of each complete with both classroom & hands-on range time. A full day event. I'll be in the kitchen for the morning sessions but hope to join in on the fun in the afternoon.
