BUT.... there could be other explanations as well. Somenform of benign tumor (there are lots of them). Scar tissue. Damage from an old injury or inflammation.

Have you been having back pain in that specific area? I can tell you that when John's cancer spread to his spine (among other bones/places), it HURT. Like 20 on a scale of 1 to 10 pain. In other words, I think you'd know....
