You have a croton, right? Have you ever tried to propagate it? I kept reading that cuttings will root in water OR in soil, so I tried both, even using rooting hormone and neither one worked. . I usually have good luck rooting plants, but not this time.

However, I cut the stem into sections, applied rooting hormone and stuck them in soil and they're growing!



Anyone else have a croton?

Next I have to try and propagate my balfour aralia. It looks like a telephone pole with leaves only at the top.
