They're travelling back to Michigan to buy Meg's grandfather's ashes & to do more work staging his house to sell.

They're both worn out from running back & forth everwhere and trying to keep up with their own lives. Plus Meg isn't handling her diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis very well. It's been quite a shock for her.
