b). Call your doctor. Tell them (or your nurse) your concerns and ask for their "best estimate" of how big of an area they're talking about.

c). You COULD ask them to just remove the circle but if the margins didn't come back clean, they'd have to go back & take out even more. Repeat until they got clean margins. You do NOT want to go thru that! Plus I've seen the incisions they did on John when they "just" removed the spots - they're big & would be awful on your face. He had one spot on his calf that they had to go back on & it took almost 6 months to heal and he still had a "divot" where it was, where the flesh didn't fill back in.

I know you're scared. I would be too. That's NORMAL but don't let that fear influence your making the best decision for optimal results. Talk to your doctors (or his/her staff) about your concerns. They've seen "spots" just like yours before and can give you the best idea of what to expect. Google will just keep on scaring you to death!!!
