A good friend just had his winter vacation interrupted by hip surgery. He & his wife were in Florida and his hip basically disintegrated... He was in so much pain they couldn't even get him back to Kentucky to his regular doctors (he has numerous health issues). Thankfully, they found a good surgeon in Florida and he came thru the surgery fine yesterday. Now the rehab/recovery begins...
